Brian Pickard, Fitness Director and Personal Trainer, working with personal training clients.

"Before my cycling accident in 2006 that left me paralyzed from the waist down, I was a regular in Brian's Bootcamp class. I loved whole body work out and it kept me in great shape to enjoy my other sports. After my accident, I wanted to go back but wasn't sure how I could because now I was in a wheelchair.

Brian welcomed and encouraged me back and set me up with my own upper body bootcamp routines I do alongside my other bootcamp friends. The strength and flexibility of my upper body is essential to me and I trust Brian completely to give me the routines I need. Not only is Brian an extremely knowledgeable trainer, he has a great personality and is a natural leader."

Annie Hayes

"There are three things I did concerning physical fitness when moving to Lenox last year that were very good moves:

1. I checked out the Lenox Fitness Center

2. I joined

3. I signed up for Personal Training with Brian Pickard

A combination of total body strength circuits twice a week along with a variety of boxing combinations and stretching has kept me interested in a way that the old split routines I used to do couldn't. No more waiting for cardio machines anymore. My fitness level is so much better and there is so much more balance and usefulness to my routines that I always leave with a sense of real accomplishment. Exercise doesn't have to be boring when you have it arranged to fit your own personal intersts."

Our certified and experienced Personal Trainers at the Lenox Fitness Center Can Help You!

 What is Personal Training?

After an initial consultation to discuss your personal health and fitness goals, your trainer will:

Our trainers are ready to listen to you and discuss your particular needs, whether you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery, diabetic, have heart problems or training for a specific sport. They will design a fitness plan unique to you and your needs.

You will find they help you focus on movements rather than muscles. By training your body as a functional unit for the way you live—they can help you whether you simply want to walk pain free or to perform like a professional athlete.

Local physicians frequently refer their patients to our personal trainers when they are recovering from surgery or an accident. The trainers at the Lenox Fitness Center work with your physician to create the plan that will help you regain strength and mobility in the most time-efficient and safe way.
