Commonly Asked Questions on Manual Dermabrasion

What is the difference between manual Dermabrasion and any other type of exfoliant?
Manual Dermabrasion utilizes magnesium oxide crystals with a physical structure that is unlike any of the common exfoliating materials. Typical scrubs are performed using friction that can cause scratching and trauma to the skin where the Manual Dermabrasion crystals require less pressure due to the dense crystal shape and cream base where incisions are made by the crystals eliminating dead skin cells with limited friction and limited recovery time.

How many treatments are required for best results?
Manual Dermabrasion should consist of a series of six treatments spaced seven to ten days apart for best results. After the initial series maintenance should be done every two months.
